SVP, Chief Lending Officer
Jimmy Olevson joined MainStreet Bank in 2016 and currently holds the position of Chief Lending Officer. Jimmy and his team of experienced lenders have helped to more than double the Bank’s asset size in the last three years and continue to grow while managing risk appropriately. Prior to MainStreet Bank, Jimmy worked for community banks and larger institutions alike since he started his banking career in 1996.
Jimmy and his team are committed to working with business owners in ways that only a community bank like MainStreet Bank can do, which is providing personalized service and unique lending solutions that fit their respective needs. The Commercial Lending Team focuses on a variety of industries to include real estate construction and development, government contracting, nonprofits and professional services.
Jimmy holds an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business with an emphasis in Economics. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Pre-Law. Jimmy also graduated from the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Business Management and Leadership Loudoun and is currently involved with the Almas Shrine and Scottish Rite in Washington DC.
