MEET THE TEAM
Rudy Dekrooj, SVP, Senior Business Banker
Rudy excels in building lasting relationships with customers by meeting their intricate banking needs. In her work with businesses, developers, nonprofits, government contractors, and individuals, Rudy leverages more than 20 years of banking experience across the Greater Washington, D.C., metro area.
Her knowledge of banking is expansive, encompassing all facets of business deposits, lending, and treasury management. She draws on this knowledge to serve as her customers’ bridge to MainStreet Bank’s lending team.
One of Rudy’s earliest banking roles was as an assistant branch manager at MainStreet Bank during its earliest stages of growth. She rejoined the Bank in May 2023 after 11 successful years with other area banks and was attracted to return because she loves the customer-centric community banking model that MainStreet Bank exemplifies. Her diverse experiences have formed her into an effective partner to customers with complex financial requirements.
Rudy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tishreen University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
She is an active member of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce. Rudy supports multiple nonprofit organizations including CORE Foundation, Cornerstones, and Western Fairfax Christian Ministries. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Herndon-Reston.

Mustafa Husseini, VP, Commercial Lender
Mustafa is a performance-driven relationship manager with more than 20 years of banking
experience. He knows the ins and outs of running a business from years of managing budgets and
teams, making him an invaluable partner to business owners and operators. He is keenly focused on
finding bank solutions to address any issues that are keeping his clients up at night.
A versatile lender, Mustafa has particular expertise in commercial and industrial lending, government
contracting, and
asset-based lending.
Mustafa has worked in banking across the Greater Washington region since 1998, and was highly
successful in managerial roles in large banks. He joined MainStreet Bank in 2022, and finds that a
community bank offers him the gratifying opportunity to know his customers on a personal level and
meet their needs by tailoring services to them.

George McDonald, AVP, Commercial Lender
George is a seasoned member of the commercial lending team
with more than 10 years of experience in banking. He takes pride
in having a comprehensive understanding of the needs of his
clients, having worked across multiple disciplines in banking.
Since joining MainStreet Bank in 2019, George has advanced
steadily to his current role as a commercial lender, having
previously served as credit analyst/underwriter and portfolio
manager in commercial lending. His decade of banking experience
has given him invaluable knowledge and insights into how each
department of a bank functions, and he leverages this knowledge
for the benefit of his clients.
George is a lifelong NOVA resident and a 2015 graduate with a BBA
in Business Management and Economics from Radford University.
During his tenure at Radford, he was the President of Skeet & Trap
team and served on the Dean’s Advisory Board.
He is an active member of both The Virginia Bankers Association
and The Risk Management Association. George is currently
attending the VBA School of Bank Management, a
multidimensional educational experience in banking.
