Jacob Hutchinson

Jacob Hutchinson is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer. Jacob joined Mainstreet Bank April 10, 2004.
He serves as a member of the Bank’s Executive Management, ERM, Asset & Liability, Technology, Compliance, Products & Services and Facilities Committees.
Before joining MainStreet Bank, Jacob held various roles at other financial institutions in branch operations and accounting, including assisting with four successful acquisitions during his tenure at BB&T. As a founding shareholder and employee at MainStreet, Jacob has brought an innovative approach to the technology and operations functions that has enabled the Bank’s reputation as one of the region’s premier financial institutions. Jacob’s contributions to-date include managing the bank’s Asset and Liability (AL) Model, implementing the first remote deposit capture service in 2005 provided by a community bank in the Mid-Atlantic region, and creating an electronic banking department, as well as leading the Information Technology Department.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from George Mason University. He is also a past President of the ProfitStars Enterprise Payment Solutions (ESP) Users Group and a former member of the MACHA Operations Committee. Jacob recently completed ABA’s first Risk Management School program.
