Do I need to open a Junior AirSavings account online?
First, before you open a Junior AirSavings, the adult must have a deposit account of their own (ex. Free or Premium Checking, AirSavings, SuperSaving Money Market). Once there is an established relationship with MainStreet Bank, in order to open a Junior AirSavings you will need the same information as any other account, but you’ll need it for both you and the adolescent. Since the child will be the primary account owner, you’ll need to have their Social Security # or Tax ID #.
How can I withdraw money from my AirSavings account?
You may use one of the following convenient options: transfer funds to your MainStreet checking online, visit an Allpoint ATM and access cash through your Airbanking Visa® debit card, utilize online bank-to-bank transfers, or stop by one of our branch locations for an in-person withdrawal.
Does the AirSavings account come with a Visa debit card?
Since the account is designed to help you save, we do not issue Visa debit cards directly with your AirSavings account. However, if you also open one of our checking accounts, you can link your AirSavings as a secondary account for cash ATM withdrawals.
What happens to my Junior AirSavings when I turn 18?
