As MainStreet Bank’s Chief Credit Officer since 2012, Chris leads a team of credit professionals overseeing the bank’s loan portfolio. He has been instrumental in shaping the bank’s credit culture and driving responsible growth.
Chris first joined MainStreet Bank in 2004 as a credit analyst. Since then he has held various positions inside and outside the bank, including roles as a commercial lender and credit risk manager. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in credit risk management and asset recovery.
Chris brings more than 20 years of experience in credit analysis, workout strategies, and portfolio management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Virginia Tech, graduated from the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management, and holds a Risk Management Association Credit Risk Certificate.
