David has been with MainStreet Bank since 2008 and has advanced steadily to his current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer. He spearheads MainStreet Bank’s dedicated team of Business Bankers with a passion for contributing to clients’ growth and success. He guides and inspires this front-line team to strategically partner with customers, providing access to creative, convenient, and cost-effective banking solutions based on each client’s needs.
While David has also excelled in a Top 5 U.S. bank, he finds that MainStreet Bank, as a community bank, gives him the flexibility and support to help shape the offerings available to customers. His areas of expertise include deposits, credit, cash management, treasury, and merchant solutions. Earlier in his career at MainStreet Bank, he helped to establish and manage the merchant services department for the Bank, where he focused his efforts for several years.
David holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland with a double major in finance and marketing. After graduating, David continued to study accounting, which contributes to his ability to advance his clients’ overall financial success.
He feels community involvement and financial literacy for both adults and youth are imperative. David is committed to community efforts such as Teach Children to Save, the Money Smart initiative, and financial counseling. He is also an active member of the Terrapin Club and has served with the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce and the Greater McLean Business Connection.
