Gabe brings more than 25 years of banking experience to his role as MainStreet Bank’s Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development. He is passionate about MainStreet Bank’s ability to help build and sustain vibrant communities, and he approaches his role with the knowledge and creativity to devise financing solutions to meet clients’ unique needs.
Since the creation of MainStreet Community Capital in 2022, Gabe has been a driving force in its expansion. The community development entity was created to advance MainStreet Bank’s efforts to invigorate distressed, low-income communities in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area by providing capital and other financial services.
Throughout his career, Gabe has supported clients by providing access to essential goods and services in housing, healthcare, education, childcare, hospitality, and green energy. He takes pride in being a diligent, responsive, and solutions-focused professional who helps ensure MainStreet Bank meets its commitment to positively impact underserved communities. As a member of the MainStreet Bank family, Gabe remains highly engaged within the community and continues to exceed the expectations of his customers and his prospects.
Gabe joined MainStreet Bank in 2019, having built a reputation for excellence since he entered the local banking scene in 1996. He holds a master’s degree in management studies from the University of Maryland University College and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. He earned the prestigious certified Housing Development Finance Professional conferred by the National Development Council.
Gabe is a member of the board of directors of Britepaths, a nonprofit organization that provides crisis assistance and supports self-sufficiency for working families in Northern Virginia. He also serves on the investor committee for the Virginia Community Development Corporation.
