Jorge Rivasplata

Jorge is a deeply knowledgeable commercial lender with nearly 20 years of banking experience. He is dedicated to building long-term relationships with his customers, helping them capitalize on their strengths, navigate financial challenges, and bring their dream projects to life.
He is proud to offer the personal touch that distinguishes community banking. He knows his customers by name, and when they call the bank, they talk directly to Jorge – not an automated answering machine or call center.
Jorge got his start in banking as a teller in 2007, after studying economics at college in Peru. With a dream of going into lending, he joined MainStreet Bank in 2015 as a portfolio manager. He has worked with many of the same clients for years, and is passionate about helping members of the community reach their goals.
He holds a master’s degree in finance from Southern New Hampshire University. Jorge is also a graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management and earned his certificate in Real Estate Investment Modeling from Cornell University. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
