Mimi Hailegiorgis
SVP, Retail Banking
Mimi Hailegiorgis joined MainStreet Bank in 2015 and is currently the Senior Vice President of Retail Banking. She has served as a mentor to many of her colleagues by taking on additional responsibilities outside of what is required. She coordinates a weekly Branch administration education session, assists other departments with specific initiatives, and serves on the Bank’s Customer Experience Committee. Mimi started her career in Banking at another local financial institution in 1998, and like many others, rose through the ranks from a Part-Time Teller into ultimately a Manager.
Mimi takes pride in the work she does both in and out of the office. She has participated in the Virginia Bankers Association Women in Banking program and has received professional certificates in topics such as Time Management. Mimi is also actively involved in local and community outreach programs through her church.
Mimi is an inspiration, leading by example across the entire Branch administration. She lives by the golden rule and always tries to put herself in the customer’s shoes. Mimi makes herself available and never seems too busy to help others. Her strong work ethic and inquisitive attitude has set her and her Branch team up for success.
