Zula Gankhuyag

As manager of the Herndon branch of MainStreet Bank, Zula Gankhuyag works to ensure that customers have a personalized experience at their community bank. She leverages knowledge gleaned during a 20-year banking career to connect customers with the solutions they need.
Zula built a command of banking and business while working in customer service and branch management. She joined MainStreet Bank in 2015 as a customer service representative and rose through the ranks quickly because of her keen insights into how the bank could support customers.
A native of Mongolia, Zula worked in banking in her home country before relocating to the United States. She worked at another local Virginia bank before joining MainStreet Bank. Zula thrives in the friendly and welcoming environment community banking creates and loves meeting new people and hearing their stories.
Zula holds a bachelor’s degree in banking administration from the University of Finance and Economics in Mongolia.
