BANKING WITH A SENSE OF PLACE
A new chapter in a historic story, MainStreet Bank is coming to Middleburg
Middleburg is more than just a pin on a map—it is the “Nation’s Horse and Hunt Capital,” a village where history is preserved in every stone wall and rolling hill. Established in 1787 by Revolutionary War Lieutenant Colonel Leven Powell, Middleburg was named for its vital role as the “middle” point on the trade route between Alexandria and Winchester.
At MainStreetBank, we understand that a town built on such a rich heritage deserves a bank that values longevity and local roots. We are honored to join the historic Middleburg community and become a part of its next chapter.
Local, accessible, and shaped by relationships
In a town that feels like “stepping back in time,” we believe banking should feel personal again. Our approach is simple: we believe that banking should be local, accessible, and built on a foundation of real relationships.

Rooted in local community
We aren’t just opening an office, we are joining a village of shopkeepers, equestrians, and neighbors.

Designed to be accessible
Whether walking down Washington Street or visiting us, we’re here to make your financial life easier.

Shaped by relationships
We don’t just see numbers, we see the people who make Middleburg a unique Southern retreat.
Visit us at 10 N Pendleton Street
Very soon, our doors at 10 N. Pendleton Street will open to provide you with a more personal way to bank. Located just steps away from the historic downtown district, our new branch is designed to feel as welcoming as a Middleburg front porch.
Once we’ve settled in, we’ll be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration. We can’t wait to meet our new neighbors, share some local refreshments, and officially join the village!
Let's talk about supporting your goals
You don't have to wait for our official opening to start a relationship with a bank that puts you first. Devon Porter, our SVP and Senior Business Banker, will come to you and is ready to help. Whether you are at your farm, your shop, or a local café, let's talk about supporting your goals.
